Chungha Sparks Rift Rumors with Jay Park “Our Directions Are Different, The More We Talk, The More I Feel It”

On February 14, a video titled “Is It Okay to See This on a First Meeting…? Jay Park, Do Not Watch This” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Zip Daesung”.
In the video, Chungha and Daesung visited a fortune teller to receive their New Year’s reading. Daesung asked shaman Ham Soo-hyun whether he should continue his YouTube channel “Zip Daesung”. The shaman advised, “You should continue until the first half of 2026. That will be a turning point.”
When asked if there was anything else they were curious about, Daesung suggested, “Why don’t you ask about your compatibility with MORE VISION?” Chungha then inquired about her relationship with the label’s CEO Jay Park, “Will Jay Park and I ever become lifelong friends?” Chungha signed an exclusive contract with Jay Park’s label MORE VISION in October 2023.

Daesung asked “Are you still not close?”, to which Chungha unexpectedly replied, “I might be closer to you (Daesung) than to him.” Shaman Ham Soo-hyun explained, “Your desired directions are different. There’s also a generational gap that comes from your age difference. It’s not that your fortunes are fundamentally incompatible, but for them to align well, Chungha would have to be older.”
Chungha admitted, “Our personalities are just too different. I feel like I match much better with you (Daesung). The more we talk, the more I realize just how different we are.”
Meanwhile, Jay Park previously faced feud rumors with Jessi, who was also signed under MORE VISION. Reports surfaced that conflicts arose over her promotional activities for “Gum”, leading to speculation that their relationship had soured. Though both denied the rumors by posting photos together, just a month later, in January 2024, MORE VISION officially announced Jessi’s contract had ended, marking their split after only nine months.
